Kumiko: Custom Patterns, Figurative Type – ”Mount Fuji”
Concept
Two Kumiko installations were incorporated into different areas of the restaurant.
At the chef’s counter, custom curved (R-shaped) elements inspired by drifting clouds are layered to create depth, giving the pattern a soft and elegant expression.
In the dining area, a figurative Kumiko artwork inspired by Mount Fuji serves as a symbolic focal point.
Together, these contrasting designs harmonize to bring a quiet sense of Japanese elegance to the space.
