コンセプト

200平方メートルを超える組子が贅沢にしつらえられた空間は、
木の陰翳と光の表情がゆるやかに広がる、豊かな奥行きを生み出しています。

「枡合わせ」は、一枚の大きな組子パネルの中に、
大小さまざまな文様を組み合わせ、
変化とリズムのある表情を描き出す意匠です。

「枡」は古くから穀物や酒を量る器として使われ、
「増す」「益す」に通じる縁起の良い形。
その意味を受け継ぎながら、
現代の空間にふさわしい秩序と穏やかなリズムを紡ぎ出しています。

Pattern: Auspicious (Masu-awase Type)

Concept

With over 200 square meters of kumiko throughout the interior,
the space is defined by a quiet interplay of light, shadow, and refined wooden geometry.

At the heart of the design is the Masu-awase motif—
a composition that brings together a variety of square patterns
to create a rich rhythm and ever-changing expression within a single large panel.

The masu, historically used to measure rice and sake,
is regarded as an auspicious symbol associated with “increase” and “prosperity.”
By carrying this meaning into a contemporary setting,
the motif offers a refined sense of order and quiet cadence.
