コンセプト
400平方メートルを超える広大な空間に、8つの趣の異なるシーンがほどよく配置され、
ひとつの風景がゆるやかに続いていく——
「秀」は、そんな“流れる景色”をテーマにした和の空間です。
空間全体には、吉祥文様をパッチワークのように「枡合わせ」の組子が張り巡らされ、
規則性と変化が共存する豊かな表情を生み出します。
その一方で、抽象文様「連瑠（れんる）」が、水面の揺らぎのように柔らかな動きを添え、
静けさとリズムが同居する、奥行きある世界観をかたちづくります。
天井にはミラー材を用い、光を含んだ組子がふわりと反射し、
照明の陰翳と重なりながら、疎密の美を帯びた上質な視覚体験を生み出します。
そこに立つだけで、静かな禅境へと誘われるような余白の時間が流れます。
店内には「雲・風・花・雪・月」の名を持つ五つの個室を設け、
さらに「松・竹・梅」を冠した三つのカウンター個室を配置。
天地の気象や自然の瑞兆を空間の名称として取り入れることで、
「包羅万象」の気配が、店全体に静かに広がっています。
「秀」は、組子と光が紡ぐ日本の美意識を、
静かに、奥深く、現代の空間へと昇華させたレストランです。

Concept
In an expansive space of over 400 square meters,eight distinct scenes are gently arranged, allowing one continuous landscape to unfold.SHŪ is conceived as an environment where views flow seamlessly from one moment to the next.
Throughout the interior, kumiko latticework in the “Masu-Awase” style—a patchwork of auspicious geometric motifs—creates a refined balance of order and variation.Complementing this, the abstract pattern “RENRU” introduces a soft, rippling movement,evoking the quiet undulation of water and adding depth to the spatial atmosphere.
Mirrored ceiling panels reflect the softly illuminated kumiko surfaces,layering light and shadow into a rhythm of density and openness.The result is a serene visual experience—one that gently guides visitors into a contemplative,almost meditative state.
Five private rooms named Cloud, Wind, Flower, Snow, and Moonand three counter rooms titled Pine, Bamboo, and Plumextend the symbolic presence of nature throughout the restaurant.By drawing from celestial phenomena and traditional auspicious flora,the space subtly embodies the idea of all-encompassing nature.
SHŪ is a contemporary interpretation of Japanese sensibility—a place where kumiko, light, and time intertwine to forma quietly profound expression of beauty.

凛として、しなやか。
古来「気高い強さ」の象徴とされる竜胆の文様を、二つの表情で空間に取り入れました。
透かしの竜胆は清流に風が渡るような抜けを生み、
和紙付きの竜胆は灯りを柔らかく拡散させて、壁面に奥行きと陰翳を重ねます。
二つの層が重なり合うことで、青い川面に波紋が広がるような静かなリズムが生まれ、視線の移ろいとともに模様は淡く表情を変えます。
余計な主張を避け、木の肌理と手触りを引き立てる設えに。
竜胆の反復は連綿と続く吉祥の意を宿し、「静謐の中にある強さ」を空間全体にもたらします。

Pattern: Auspicious Pattern—Rindō
Concept
Elegant and composed.The Rindō motif—long revered in Japan as a symbol of noble strength—is interpreted here in two expressions that define the atmosphere of the space.
The openwork pattern evokes a sense of breeze crossing a clear stream,while the washi-lined lattice diffuses light softly across the wall,layering gentle shadows and depth into the surface.As these two layers overlap, a quiet rhythm emerges—like ripples expanding across a blue river—and the patterns subtly shift their expression with every change in perspective.
Each material was chosen for restraint,allowing the natural grain and tactile warmth of the wood to speak for itself.The repetition of the Rindō motif carries auspicious meaning,imbuing the entire space with a sense of “strength within stillness.”

光が降りそそぎ、水が流れ、風がめぐる。「星龍吟」は、単一店舗としてはアジア最大級の組子使用面積を誇りながら、
自然の循環と静寂の美を、日本の伝統意匠によって可視化した空間です。
店内の中央には、全長10メートル・22平方メートルに及ぶ富士山の作品。73,500個のパーツが精密に組み上げられ、光の角度や見る位置によって、その姿は刻々と表情を変えます。
あらゆる場所に広がる組子は、山の稜線や庭の景を織りなし、その中に映り込む蒼滝が、空から地へと流れる光のように輝きます。
浮かぶ楼閣や石庭の緑は、過ぎゆく時を穏やかに受けとめ、人と自然、伝統と現代が静かに融け合う場所をつくり出します。
それは、木と光と風が響き合う、現代に生きる日本の美意識の象徴です。

Concept
Light pours down, water flows, and wind drifts through the air.“SEIRYŪGIN” presents one of the largest applications of kumiko latticework in Asia within a single restaurant—a space that visualizes the quiet beauty and cyclical rhythm of nature through traditional Japanese craftsmanship.
At its center stands a monumental kumiko installation of Mount Fuji,measuring 10 meters in length and 22 square meters in area.Composed of 73,500 finely crafted wooden pieces,it transforms continuously as light shifts and the viewer’s perspective changes.
Throughout the interior, intricate kumiko patterns evoke the ridgelines of mountains and the calm scenery of a garden.Within them, the deep blue waterfall of Aotaki glows like a current of light descending from the heavens.Floating pavilions and a living stone garden receive the gentle passage of time,where nature and people, tradition and modernity, quietly converge.
It is a space where wood, light, and wind resonate in harmony—a living expression of Japanese beauty reimagined for the present age.

4種類の木材でできた52,680個のパーツが織りなす組子模様は、49,560回におよぶ溝加工を経て精緻に組み上げられ、ひとつの“詩”として、10平方メートルの中に静かに息づいています。
柔らかな光が木を透かし、陰影が穏やかに揺らめく。その表情の変化が、漂う波紋のように空間へ広がり、訪れる人の心を静かに整えていきます。
「雫の詩」は、音のない世界でひそやかに響く、自然と手仕事が奏でる静寂の旋律です。

Concept
On a still water surface, gentle ripples begin to spread—just as light and shadow breathe quietly within this space.
The kumiko pattern, woven from 52,680 parts crafted in four kinds of wood,was precisely assembled through 49,560 delicate groove cuts—forming a single poem that quietly breathes within ten square meters of space.
Subtle light filters through the lattice,casting calm, shifting shadows that drift like ripples across the walls.Their quiet motion fills the room with a tranquil rhythm,gently bringing stillness to those who enter.
“Shizukunouta” is a space where nature and craftsmanship converge—a silent harmony of wood, light, and time.It is a serene composition of quiet resonance born from human hands.

春を彩る花、夏の風にそよぐ水のきらめき、秋の光に映える木の陰影、そして冬の静寂を思わせる柔らかな光。その表現は、具象文様として自然の美を描き、抽象文様として風や水の流れを映し、さらに吉祥文様として、穏やかな幸福への祈りを宿しています。

Throughout the hotel, kumiko artworks are placed with thoughtful harmony,welcoming guests with the gentle warmth of handcrafted wood.Each design embodies the poetic rhythm of Japan’s ever-changing seasons—the blossoms of spring, the shimmer of water in summer,the soft shadows cast by autumn light,and the calm glow reminiscent of winter’s stillness.
These expressions take shape through figurative motifs that capture the beauty of nature,abstract compositions that mirror the flow of wind and water,and auspicious patterns that convey wishes for peace and happiness.

Designed around the theme of a serene space where one listens to the sound of leaves swaying in the wind, this interior embodies tranquility and harmony with nature.
Soft light filters through the Kumiko latticework, casting delicate, leaf-like shadows that gently ripple across the walls. As time passes, the interplay of light and shadow transforms, creating a calm and graceful atmosphere reminiscent of a quiet forest.
Natural wood is used for the ceiling and counter, bringing out the authentic tone and texture of the material itself. The finely handcrafted Kumiko details by skilled artisans add depth, warmth, and refinement to the space.
A moment where visitors can feel the “Konone” with all five senses, allowing their hearts to settle into quiet balance—a space that expresses the harmony between Japanese beauty and the natural world, created for a Japanese fine dining restaurant.

Deep shadows reminiscent of a tranquil sea, and a gentle shimmer like stars wavering behind a veil of night—the atmosphere of OKADAYA is quietly infused with both tradition and the subtle presence of nature.
The welcoming façade features kumiko patterns such as rindō, asanoha, and kawari-asanoha—auspicious motifs symbolizing noble strength, growth, and harmony—their meanings softly radiating throughout the space.
Interwoven across these is the abstract motif “Seika” (Star Haze).It evokes the muted glow of starlight diffused through thin clouds,creating a serene interplay of light and shadow that reflectsboth the calm of the sea and the refined beauty that defines this crab-specialty restaurant.

Concept
With over 200 square meters of kumiko throughout the interior,the space is defined by a quiet interplay of light, shadow, and refined wooden geometry.
At the heart of the design is the Masu-awase motif—a composition that brings together a variety of square patternsto create a rich rhythm and ever-changing expression within a single large panel.
The masu, historically used to measure rice and sake,is regarded as an auspicious symbol associated with “increase” and “prosperity.”By carrying this meaning into a contemporary setting,the motif offers a refined sense of order and quiet cadence.
Flowing softly across these grids is the abstract motif UN-KA,its drifting lines reminiscent of wind over water or a veil of thin mist.In contrast to the masu’s linear structure,this gentle movement introduces depth, openness, and poetic stillness.
Together, these patterns shape a serene environment—a place where guests can experience the understated and comforting beautythat lies at the heart of Japanese spatial design.

Framed by deep crimson walls and the dignified presence of premium timbers,KANIDŌ presents a dining environment shaped by richness and calm.Softening this dramatic backdrop is the Kumiko artwork“Kogetsu no Shirabe”, integrated into the partitions and seating areas.
Inspired by the moon reflected on a still lake and the gentle ripple of water,its intricate patterns introduce a delicate sense of movement anda quiet, rhythmic glow.The piece lightens the weight of solid wood and subtly elevatesthe warmth of the interior palette.
The bold red crab sculpture, traditional carved ranma,and the expressive grains of the timber elements—“Kogetsu no Shirabe” receives all these dynamic featuresand brings them into a harmonious, effortless balance.
